Another Cheep Post: A Friday Letters Collage

For a small bit I sent my mother in-law (who is in memory care) weekly letters with a photo collage of things from the week.  It's hard to come up with things!  Here's one, sans the accompanying letter.  This is not from this year.

Look at that! I grew a few beans!

The pumpkins are not my own since they never get pollinated.

Ah, one of my displays of pink flowers in the garden.  We were traveling late August/early September this year so I did as little with annuals in the garden as possible.  I missed my begonias and coleus this year terribly.  Back to color madness in 2026.

Two pictures of our chihuahua.  He's a favorite at our vet's office, and someone found him little jackets in the donation bins.

My beagle. Holy Cow how skinny he looks.  We cannot get his weight down from 50 pounds these days. He's the heaviest beagle we've ever had, and he tries to steal food from the other dogs at every meal :(

Is there anything prettier than a basket of embroidery thread?

One of Target's value bin Valentine items.  Cheep indeed.

A detail from a tablecloth mom started. Look at the fine work she could do.  I find the small thin needles and Aunt Lydia's threads to be slippery as anything, and have made no progress over the years doing filet crochet, which is so pretty.
