Mystery Crossword Puzzle

I did this crossword several years ago, and I may have posted it back then.  I'm pretty sure though, for some reason, I didn't post the answer.  Even if I did, it's all new today, right?

I'd love to do more crosswords, and I might, but I find they are really hard to compose, because you need a good, short clue written in a certain style, and an answer that will fit in a puzzle with other words.  I think I have enough pre-made clues to do another mystery puzzle.  If I can get back into the zone for creating these, more topics to come.

    Any way to make this image larger? I do love a puzzle, but I can't fill anything in.

      Hello! This is from an old printout which I scanned and wasn't able to make a pdf that could be printed more easily. If I can figure out a way to fix it I will. I have a new puzzle for next Saturday that includes a pdf version so it should be much better. Thanks for trying the puzzle!

      I made the image extra large, I hope it helps. It will cover the sidebar at that size on mobile devices, but just this once we'll see how it goes.
