I tried for a top five, then was ok with a top ten, but I have eleven favorite mysteries that were published this year. These all stayed with me after I read them. A few are part of a series. Many are historical mysteries because those are my favorites. Only one is by an author I haven't read before, Frieda McFadden. These aren't in any ranking order.
