 Welcome to another Mom Monday. I haven’t run out of sketches yet. I’m quite certain this is my grandfather Carl. A year or two from this picture he had curly blond hair and was equally adorable.

Mom Monday: A Pencil Portrait

 Mom inherited an old suitcase full of photos. She didn’t know who most of the people were, but some caught her imagination as portrait subjects. 

I’m doing a huge sorting of physical photographs, but haven’t found the original of this one so far. Mom usually worked in oils, but she had a period of time when portraits were her focus. She even took commissions for a few.
