Garden Tools for Spring 2023

Gardening is more fun if you've got a good set of tools, just as in every craft.  It's hard to find a well made variety of tools at big box stores and hardware stores. They're just not attuned to the gardener, I think.

 Smith & Hawken

I was going to list Smith & Hawken, once I got the name Smith and Wesson out of my head.  I'd never visited one of their stores, but knew I should.  I waited too long, as they apparently closed all of their stores in 2009.  There's a really good article from Garden Rant on the closing:

Burpee has a nice variety of garden tools.  Most are reasonably priced, but of course I want the Black Walnut Hand forged ones.

Aren't these just works of garden art?   I'd like them just to have them hanging around in an ornamental way.  They look very useful, of course.  They're also pricey, I thought, and I was going hmmm...maybe if I won the lottery I could get them.
