What's Cooking November 10, 2021

I think this Southern Broccoli Casserole from Spicy Southern Kitchen looks like a great side dish.

From King Arthur Baking Company, tips for getting Thanksgiving dinner on the table in a trice.

The Girl Who Ate Everything invites you to try a nice warm piece of Chocolate Chip Pie.

Right after chocolate, I love Butterscotch.  Handle the Heat's Butterscotch cake is a dream.

This looks like a nice loaf of bread, with no kneading involved.

Dying For Chocolate has a fun list of War Time Recipes for Veterans Day.  These remind me very much of the novel The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan.

What's Cooking September 29, 2021

Sunday dinner, here we come, with Life in the Lofthouse's Three Packet Roast. The three packets are Brown gravy mix, Italian Dressing Mix and Ranch Dressing Mix.

It's a meaty week here at DOA Central, so this recipe for Swedish Meatballs by Recipe Critic sounds very nice!

So we're not only eating meats, there should be pie.

When I worked in Wheeling WV, there was a shop that made Pepperoni Rolls that I think were just like these from Janet's Appalachian Kitchen.  So good! I'd walk down and get one or two for lunch or dinner more than once a week.

Pink is my favorite color, but I've seen pictures of some retro rooms lately all in shades of pink--whoa way too much.  This kitchen with turquoise added is perfect.
