What's Cooking? February 10, 2022

The desire for Chocolate continues.  From Baker by Nature, Chocolate Beignets.  Bursting with a creamy filling, they're dusted with a powder made from powdered sugar and baker's cocoa.

From the English Kitchen, a simplified version of Chicken Pot Pie.

Isn't there something charming about colorful dishes in a teeny cabinet?

Here’s a good chart for roasting vegetables.

Fortunately for me, none of the flavors are appealing so I won’t be disappointed none are available. I’m all admiration for Dolly’s entrepreneurship, though!

What's Cooking January 13, 2022

I loved dishes like these.  They could make a child feel so grown up.  If only I'd still had a set when I got my Easy Bake Oven, also a real treasure😉

From Vintage Recipes, variations on biscuit dough.  The Individual Chicken Shortcakes with "hot creamed chicken" sounds like a nice way to use leftovers.

I wish I had a cabinet like this, and colorful dishes to display inside.

Pass the chocolate!
