I've cleaned up the blogrolls on the sidebar.  There's a fresh coat of paint.  My social media links are on the sidebar.  I hoped to link directly to my pages on the sites but you can search for me with ease by Librariandoa.  Even more surprising than my having them up, is, I'm making an effort to use them.  Very 21st century and a quarter of me, I'd say.

I haven't done resolutions for a long time, but I have fun making lists of all the things I want to learn or create or bake.  That's the approach for me, look at what cool things might be ahead.  Don't look left, don't look right to see any scary stuff. Nope way too busy.

I've updated the Cooking and Baking blog section of my sidebar with new blogs!  Just as we all snuggle inside for the winter, the desire to cook and bake becomes overpowering!  The warmth from the oven, the smells, the lovely new flavors.   These are some favorites of mine which I never got onto my blogroll, but here they are. Blogroll Adjustments

I look at my blog every day just to look at my blogroll. I don't know if other people do that, but I truly enjoy the mix of things I have and love to see what is new.  I took a few off that either were never updated, or I just don't read.  I added a few I've been meaning to add for awhile:

writerlywitterlings  by mystery author Michael Jecks.

The MarySue.com  it is supposed to be "girl geek culture" but they have lots of things I'm interested in so voila.

R. L. Lafevers hasn't updated her blog for a bit, but I just love her books so we shall see.

Sharon Creech is a fantastic YA author and she also writes charmingly about the everyday as well.

Ready for Google Reader to Poof

I finally sat down with my feed list from Google Reader.  I put anything I'd really like to see here and some blogs that I like ok but they have too many ads for my taste or they aren't updated much I just stuck in favorites.

I actually had to Google Google Reader to get to it, I looked this week in my list of apps or whatever from Google and it isn't anyplace to be seen.  I suppose they don't want people going all wild and subscribing to feeds.  Bad dogs.

I enjoy my current blogroll and have been tweaking it lately. It has my many interests pretty well covered.  I am at 85 and I could be mis-remembering, but I think the limit is 144 blogs in the roll.  Keeping an eye on it and will let you know.

Re-working my bloglist...

I'm combining all the blogs on my sidebar into a single list and sorting by the most recently updated. This makes it more fun to read and simpler to see who is updating what. Hot blog news, as it happens!

I wish I could include snippets but that creates a sidewall of text, so no. I'm sending to the blog boneyard anything that hasn't been updated in over a month (with some exceptions for my favorites). So many great blogs, so little time to read, must make room for the thoughtfully prolific.

This will take some time but it will be All GOOD.
