Doors and Windows in the Garden

 I love seeing pictures which cleverly use old doors and windows in the garden. The example below is particularly charming, with the little wood slat path going up to the door.  The door also features a pretty window box. Nearby is an old blue window frame. 

Garden Tools for Spring 2023

Gardening is more fun if you've got a good set of tools, just as in every craft.  It's hard to find a well made variety of tools at big box stores and hardware stores. They're just not attuned to the gardener, I think.

I was going to list Smith & Hawken, once I got the name Smith and Wesson out of my head.  I'd never visited one of their stores, but knew I should.  I waited too long, as they apparently closed all of their stores in 2009.  There's a really good article from Garden Rant on the closing:

Supernatural ReWatch Season One

 

In about April of 2019, I watched the fourteen seasons of Supernatural just in time to watch the fifteenth and final season live when it came out in October. 

I loved every season, and every episode, I said at the time, and considered diving right back in at the beginning. 

Off and on recently, I’ve watched episodes. It is amazing how much I recall from the stories over so many seasons.

This time around I appreciated the dynamics of the boys with their father, how they didn’t realize vampires were real, and how Bobby Singer first showed them a demon trap, something they used over and over through the years.

Love those odd motel rooms they find. Love the unbreakable bond between Dean and Sam.

Onward to season two.

 Although I don’t go to libraries myself (so odd, I admit it), I love old pictures of library services on the fly. Wouldn’t it have been fun to pull up just about anywhere in your little Library-Mobile?

Happy 2023
