Book Notes January 18, 2022

Coming in February to Britbox and later this year to PBS, an adaptation of Anthony Horowitz's Magpie Murders.

Set partly in the 1950's and partly in the current day, it looks excellent.

Buzzfeed Books asked their community to suggest books and series they like to see adapted for television.  There are so many good ones on the list.  Some I haven't read and am curious enough about to see an adaptation.

Here are a few more mysteries for your reading list, just out in January.

CrimeReads reports on titles entering the public domain.  I've only read the Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orczy so far, but the Celestial City looks promising.
