Happy New Year! Here's the first Fallen Phrase Puzzle of 2022. It's from a book, no surprise, which I ended up reading in one sitting.
I ran out of toner, much sooner than I thought I should, so couldn't print this until just now. But I WILL do it today!

I finished it but it was rejected by the Judge as having too many non English words. I shall reprint and try again.
