Bosch Legacy

I finally watched the last two episodes of the inaugural season of Bosch Legacy.  Both episodes were absolutely pulse pounding, as an assassin went after the long lost  heirs of a wealthy man, a middle aged woman and her pre-teen (I think) son.  Bosch, no longer on the police force is able "to cross any line" in order to keep people safe.  He did try to warn the assassin off.

Just as stunning, Maddie continues to try to track down the "screen cutter" serial rapist who cuts screens to get in women's homes, then he waits for them.  Unknowingly, she connects with him in his non-masked, civilian guise, and thinks he's someone helpful.  Maddie has put herself on his radar as his next potential victim.  You only see that he's masked and lurking in her hall closet when she comes home from work, tired, then that the house is seemingly deserted when Harry comes over to see why he can't get ahold of her.  Yikes.

Strange New Worlds  Spock Amok

He isn't really amok, but he does inadvertently switch bodies with his intended, T'Pring.  There could never be a good time to switch bodies, if inadvertent, but there's a diplomatic crisis that requires Spock, and T'Pring must deal with a rogue Vulcan, using skills she is specifically trained in.  It's billed as highly comedic, but the understated, unemotional nature of Vulcans doesn't really lend itself to high humor.

Obi-Wan

I'd like to mostly say again how adorable mini-mite Leia is, how she manages to undercut Obi-Wan's efforts to get them to safely off world by chatting with everyone she came across.

However, the thriller was definitely Hayden Christiansen as a young, powerful and merciless Darth Vader, in full robes, heavy breathing noises filling the air, and James Earl Jones' voice scaring Obi-Wan to death.  Obi-Wan fought terribly, he's beyond out of practice.  He barely made it out of the encounter alive.

Upcoming Shows:

Gotham Knights

Batman is dead and his adopted son Turner Hayes is a suspect.   Hayes aligns with some sketchy characters in order to solve the crime.  Misha Collins, Castiel to Supernatural fans, plays Harvey Dent.

Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

I have the book version of this, because I have loved all of Suzanne Collins books, but ick, Snow at any age.  Maybe I'll see the movie then want to read the book. It happens!

Willow

Warwick Davis returns as stalwart Willow, helping a Princess on her quest.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law

Tatiana Maslany of Orphan Black is hilarious (from what I see) as an attorney who becomes a 6'7" green beast of a woman.

Masterpiece Mystery

Everything looks good in this extended trailer for upcoming and returning series included in Masterpiece Mysteries.

Night Sky

An elderly couple, Sissy Spacek and J.K. Simmons have a portal to another world under their shed.  It sounds intriguing to me.

Westworld

I almost am not sure where Westworld can go, or who, besides Bernard, we're supposed to be rooting for.  I will be watching in any case.
