Christmas Decorations Bring On The Merry

 I am loading all of my stresses into Christmas this year. Even the Grinch knows you can’t stop Christmas from coming. In any given year, I love Christmas. It is truly Merry and Bright. I am filled as much as possible with a desire for Peace on Earth and Good Will to Men. 

Longtime fans will notice my two long in the making Christmas afghans are complete. I like how they look so I’ve started another.

Happy Halloween!

 I’ve given away to my son my outdoor Halloween decorations for his house. All of my inside things are out though. The large and small Halloween cutouts I found last year are spectacular. Note the set of four with a smiling moon face among them For some reason our little dog growled at that group for a couple of days, then spent another two barking at them. 

I hope he likes the big Santa picture I bought this year.

Terribly cold, icy, and snowy today. I hope it doesn’t discourage Trick or Treaters completely.

DOA On TV 9/1/23

 Hello! I’ve been binge watching Grey’s Anatomy since April and not watching the many exciting things that have become available. I'm on season 19.  So many original characters have left or been killed off, but it's still a really good show.

I have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ services.  I had Paramount till Picard ended, and did not re-subscribe for Strange New Worlds when it became available.

Here’s what I've missed while bingeing Grey's:

Somehow, I only saw season one of Discovery of Witches. I’ve read the books and book two, which season two is based on, was my favorite. I hope this deal with Max allows me to see the rest.

Considering this a giant post it note to myself, I also let season 2 of Perry Mason on HBO slide past me.  Unfortunately it was not renewed for a third season.

Yikes, I have also not watched season two of the Lincoln Lawyer, which luckily has been renewed.

It's rare for me to go to the theater, since Covid, so I wait till movies Stream someplace.  Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is now on Disney Plus.

Might crack and watch Wheel of Time before finishing Grey's.  Despite changes to the books, they did a great job on Season one.

I will probably watch Ahsoka, though I wasn't so taken with her character in the Mandolorian.  I don't know her from Star Wars books, as I tend to be a film only fan.

Garden Weeding and Reorganization

 I’m in the middle of a large garden weeding and reorganization project. Results vary. It will be a challenge this next week with temps in the high nineties.
