Progress! Only Six More Plants Need a Home

I’ve been working in the brutal sun this week trying to plant my fun spring purchases. Three types of onions and three perennials remain. I got this.

Clearing the masses of roots in my former raised beds is a nightmare.  Finding plastic miracle gro bags that I was using as a foil for roots completely intact among the roots….agh!

Here’s how the garden looks after a frenzy of potting and planting.

The Garden in June 6/14/23

Only about 15 (ha ha ha) more nursery plants to pot up or plant in ground.  I’ve started no seeds. Luckily lettuces and beans and cucumbers grow fast.

I’ve taken out the “raised” beds and want a single long two-3ft wide vegetable growing bed in the center of the garden. Not there yet.

There is still a bit of weeding to be done but overall, I think the garden is becoming the garden I want.
