Our Quote is from Pindar, Nemean Odes.
Words have a longer life than deeds.
Yikes! Late on a puzzle. Sorry about that. Word Finds are the next puzzle type in the rotation, and they will be based on a recently read book. This one is from the new series opener The Mercy of Gods, #1 in the Captive's War Series. A fascinating and chilling book.
I used to do my puzzles from the First Lines of books, but oddly, I was getting to a point where I couldn't recall if I'd already used a book for a puzzle or not. We now have all quotations from various sources for the puzzles.
The Answer Key provided is a bit light. It saves me trying to create and type in the answers in Word, though!
Here is the answer:

Here's our first Cryptogram, using once again the Discovery Education Puzzle Maker because it generates an answer sheet. Very Nice!
Here’s the usual mix of nostalgia and upcoming holiday magic you’re craving.
One: Good thing we don’t overindulge our children anymore.
Two: Here’s another pretty Christmas display idea.
Three: Having a small kitchen doesn’t mean you can’t have tons of charm. This one is warm and cheery, with so much to look at.
Four: Signs of the times.
Five: I need good light to read by, but there is also something warm and cozy about lamp light.
I started with something simple to get you back in practice. I hope it went well! The rebus is a quote by Agatha Christie.

It's Variety Week in our Puzzle Rotation. This week we have a Fallen Phrase Puzzle. Look at each column and find the letters that fit into the squares above to make a fine phrase. Best of luck!

Yikes it’s almost half way through September and my goals for this month have gone kablooie. Life intrudes on our list making, does it not?
One: Christmas makes another appearance or two because it’s just so pretty. You asked for another decorated trunk (secretly) and here it is. Imagine some silly person putting a Barbie in this instead.
Two: I have a fondness for china cabinets, particularly adorable smaller ones crammed full of collectibles.
Three: To give equal time to Halloween, blogger Repeat Crafter Me uses new Glowing Red Heart Yarn for spooky little ghosts.
Four: More Halloween! My husband is now a fan of the huge variety bags of Halloween candy from Costco after years of buying 14 or so bags of snack sized candies. He has the kids grab as much as they can hold in one hand so he needs quite a bit.
Five: This isn’t quite the ideal room but it’s close. The book cases, so cozy, I love the padded end table which you could use as a footstool to unwind. The couch could be more nappable.
For September at least, I'm bringing back my ever popular puzzles. There's a different type each week. New Puzzles are out on Saturday mornings at 5:00 am, answers are at 7 pm Saturday nights the following week. The answer for this one is scheduled for the evening of September 14. Enjoy!

Perhaps your timelines and newsfeeds are filled with Halloween lately. The Christmas people are gearing up, though so expect more of that here.
One: Old suitcases are in fashion now, usually in an appealing stack. It’s fun to see them used for vignettes such as this too.
Two: On a Scale of Cat, tonight I’m a four. How is your day going?
Three: Conspiracy theorists, unite!
Four: They are never getting all of that in the fridge.
Five: You shouldn’t leave them, you know you shouldn’t.
It used to be that the fall TV season was a huge time for new television show premieres on TV. There were more new shows than you could watch. Game shows and Reality Tv seem to dominates traditional TV these days.
