Mom could do anything and she attempted everything. So she had many works in progress. Moving things around today, I found this nice painting which just needs a bit more work…except. In order to finish it you’d need to (eep) paint over my father’s ghostly floating head. Nobody wants to be the one to do that.
You had a talented mom! Maybe you can think of the ghostly image as part of the scene--he's looking in on the old scene.
ReplyDeleteThank you, she was something else. She re-used canvases quite a bit. I guess she couldn’t make herself fill in the rest of the scene. Suitable for framing as is, right?
