DOA On TV: Fall TV, off to an Oopsie Start

Yikes, I missed the premier of Gotham, Lucifer, Agents of Shield, and Survivor (!!!!!!) this week because I haven't got my nice tv cheat sheet ready.   (Pulls head from Deep Place)  Good thing everything is set for series recording.  I'm just out of the habit of watching TV in the evenings, boink!

There are very few new shows I'm interested in this fall, worst new offerings in years.  Almost everything really good is pushed back to January.  Except for great things like the Flash...

  1. Dirk Gently? I'm going to try to watch that. I think Supergirl and McGyver look good, too. We both enjoyed Bull and Designated Survivor so far.

  2. I haven't read the book Dirk Gently...but it sounds as if the show will be fun. Elijah Wood is in it, though not the star.
I never saw the original MacGyver, but thought I'd give this a chance.
Did you ever see the movie Frequency? It was really suspenseful, I'm not sure the tension of the story can be successfully told over the course of a TV series, but I'll give it a try.

  3. I didn't see a lot of MacGyvers, but they were fun. Didn't see Frequency. I'll look it up.

    1. I think I'll look at Designated Survivor. I looked it up and it may be good. Rather unique premise. Plus Kiefer Sutherland :)
