Pretzel Jello...eeek!

I've just started helping with donations. Ladies Church Cookbooks are hot items for the booksale, I'm betting, because of recipes like this:

1 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
1/2 cup melted margarine
Mix margarine and pretzels together and press in 9X13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

Mix together and spread on cooled crust:

1 8 oz. pkg softened cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 8 oz. container Cool Whip

Mix and stir till set:

1 6 oz. pkg. strawberry or raspberry Jello
1 cups of boiling water
2 small pkgs. frozen strawberries or raspberries.

Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan. Chill.

  1. I've had this and it's really pretty good. It's a crispy crust instead of a soft one like graham crackers. You need to go to more church potlucks, DOA!

  2. I've also had this at it's not too bad. I've also been to a lot of church potlucks so I've had many different Jello dishes.
